To avoid any misunderstandings among your personnel, in addition to letting them know that vaccinations have started, please inform them whether booster vaccinations are included in your occupational health contract. It is also possible to book an appointment for a booster vaccination as a private customer, in which case the price of the vaccination work is €41.90; you'll get 16 euros of Kela compensation. The vaccination work is paid during the transaction itself.

Booster vaccination can prevent serious disease

The vaccines developed against new Covid19 variants are made to protect against infection and illness. In addition to being a serious disease, the coronavirus infection also causes a lot of sick leave, and the vaccine can help employers protect their employees and ensure their ability to work.

At Terveystalo you can get a booster vaccination against the corona virus, if you are 18 years or older, you have had at least two previous corona vaccinations or one corona vaccination and one coronavirus infection. At least 3 months must have passed since the previous booster vaccination or the previous corona virus infection, confirmed with a corona test at home or in a laboratory.

Price for the employer

The vaccine is free of charge, but the vaccination work and supplies are charged to the companies if the vaccinations are given in occupational health. For employers, the labor and supplies fee for the corona vaccination is €37.90/visit from January 1, 2023. Kela reimburses the costs incurred by the employer for vaccination in accordance with the Health Insurance Act when the vaccinator is a nurse. Compensation according to the Health Insurance Act is €16/vaccine and this compensation decision is valid until June 30, 2023. When the vaccinator is an occupational health nurse, Kela's compensation is paid in occupational health care compensation class 1.
