
Covid-19 vaccination
Terveystalo will provide vaccinations together with municipalities, employers and occupational health.
The municipalities are responsible for organizing vaccinations in their respective areas, and they may also provide vaccinations in cooperation with local operators, such as Terveystalo.
Information on Covid-19 vaccinations
THL provides instructions for all operators on the vaccination arrangements, the distribution of vaccines, and the administration of vaccinations. The most current information on the vaccine situation in Finland and the vaccines used can be found on THL’s website.
THL gives instructions on the order of administration and distribution of the vaccines. Terveystalo receives the vaccines from the municipality. This means that it receives Covid-19 vaccines in accordance with THL’s national recommendations.
Currently, the BioNTech-Pfizer, Moderna, and Janssen vaccines are in use in Finland.
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health is in charge of the procurement of vaccines for Finland. The Government makes the final decision on the vaccines to be procured.
Covid-19 vaccinations are free of charge to everyone living in Finland.
No, it is not possible. Finland’s Covid-19 vaccination strategy, issued by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, is based on medical grounds, the opinions of Finnish experts, and evidence.
The municipalities are responsible for the organization of vaccinations in their respective areas, and Terveystalo cooperates with the municipalities. Once the vaccination arrangements in a municipality have been agreed on, we will immediately contact our occupational health customers to inform them.
In Finland, Covid-19 vaccinations are offered to everyone aged 12 years or older.
It is recommended, that all pregnant women would take the vaccine.
After the vaccination has been registered in Terveystalo's patient information system information about the vaccination is also recorded in the Kanta.fi database, i.e. the information is also displayed in the My Kanta service.

Vaccinations are provided according to the schedule determined by THL (Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare). Please visit the website of your municipality to check the estimated vaccination schedule.
