Terveystalo continues to be one of the most attractive places to work in the health and social care sector

Universum's annual survey of professionals has been published on 17.9.2024. The result reveals that more than 1200 health and pharmaceutical professionals have again chosen Terveystalo as one of the most attractive places to work in the healthcare sector this year.
In Universum's professional survey, participants rated the employers they know through questions on reputation, workplace culture, career and development opportunities, salary and benefits, among others. The survey data provides a comprehensive picture of the attractiveness of Finnish employers in the health and social care sector among professionals.
Terveystalo is delighted that the development in the number of applicants and attractiveness seen during 2024 is also reflected in the results of the Universum survey:
– For example, the number of applicants for Terveystalo's vacancies in the nursing staff has been increasing by tens of percent annually for several years now. In addition, our open national applications and our junior programmes attract hundreds of applicants.
– We know that high numbers of applicants are not a given and we want to work towards a good applicant experience and thank all our applicants for their interest in Terveystalo's job opportunities. We aim to continue to offer interesting job opportunities for healthcare professionals and to meet all our job seekers in the most applicant-oriented way possible," say Mikko Saarnio and Telma Töyrä from Terveystalo's Career Services nurse recruitment team.
Development continues
According to Terveystalo's annual talent survey, Terveystalo's strengths as a place to work include a good team spirit, clear job descriptions and satisfaction with its own frontline staff.
– Professionals are one of the three pillars of Terveystalo's strategy, and Terveystalo recognises that work to develop its employer image and employee experience is ongoing. Terveystalo's long-term development work is supported by an ambitious talent strategy, where development projects are currently focusing in particular on the development of frontline staff, induction, professional development, skills management and an even smoother career," says Minttu Sinisalo, Human Resources Director at Terveystalo.
