Sickness absence recommendations will in future be submitted electronically
From 10 May, sickness absence recommendations made by nurses, occupational physiotherapists and direct physiotherapy practitioners will also be automatically sent to the customer in the Terveystalo app and online service. At the same time, the recommendation will also be transmitted to the employer if the employee has authorised the automatic data transfer to the employer and provided that the employer uses the Sirius work capacity management system.
The change impoves the service experience by making all absence certificates and recommendations available in one place, regardless of the professional who made the recommendation or certificate. The electronicisation of the recommendation will not change care practices, even if the name of the document displayed to customers in the Health Centre's online service and application is the sickness absence certificate.
