Covid-19 booster vaccinations in occupational health
Covid-19 booster vaccinations will start at Terveystalo right from the beginning of the year.
We are opening an appointment for the Covid-19 booster vaccination at the beginning of the year 2023. In the first phase booster vaccinations will be given in Helsinki and as soon as possible also in Jyväskylä, Oulu, Tampere and Turku. We expand vaccination to other locations depending on the demand, and the up-to-date situation regarding the vaccination locations can always be found on our website.
The vaccine is free of charge, but the vaccination work and supplies are charged to the companies if the vaccinations are given in occupational health. For employers, the labor and supplies fee for the corona vaccination is €37.90/visit from January 1, 2023. Kela reimburses the costs incurred by the employer for vaccination in accordance with the Health Insurance Act when the vaccinator is a nurse. Compensation according to the Health Insurance Act is €16/vaccine and this compensation decision is valid until June 30, 2023. When the vaccinator is an occupational health nurse, Kela's compensation is paid in occupational health care compensation category 1.
Booster vaccination can also be applied for as a private individual, in which case the price of the vaccination work, €41.90, will be charged to the private customer. Individuals are also entitled to Kela compensation of 16 euros.
Online appointment booking opens at the end of January, but when booking an appointment, it is not visible whether the vaccination is included in the occupational health contract or not. In order for your staff applying for vaccinations to avoid misunderstandings, please also remember to inform your own staff about whether Covid-19 vaccinations are included in your occupational health contract.
