Terveystalo acquires MedInari Oy in Inari

The municipality of Inari and other shareholders announce their intention to sell MedInari Oy's operations to Terveystalo. The acquisition process is still ongoing and is expected to be completed in the coming weeks. MedInari Oy provides occupational health services in the Inari and Ivalo areas for both the public sector and local companies. The company employs 6 people and about 25 private practitioners. The company has approximately 2,500 occupational health end customers. Revenue in 2019 was approximately EUR 1.1 million.

“We warmly welcome all MedInari employees and customers to Terveystalo! With the acquisition, MedInari's customers will have access to Terveystalo's high-quality digital services in addition to the previous services. Medinari's professionals will also become members of Finland's largest network of health experts." says Laura Räty, Terveystalo's SVP of Public Services.

"We believe Terveystalo to be an excellent new owner for MedInari as Finland's leading provider of occupational health services and a quality and development expert that provides digitally supported, effective services to support employees, work communities and management. With the acquisition, we look forward to seeing private health care services develop in the area," says Inari Mayor Toni K. Laine.

The company's employees will move to Terveystalo as former employees and operations will continue in the former premises.
