What to consider at the clinic

Our clinics are open and we provide comprehensive services. We want to make sure that it is safe to visit us: we have intensified our cleaning practices and employed other measures to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. For our all safety, we kindly ask you to cover your face with a mask when visiting our clinic.

We can all help to protect ourselves and others during the epidemic. At the clinic:

  • Arrive on time but avoid spending unnecessary time in the waiting room
  • If it it necessary for the patient to have an escort, we kindly ask you to limit the number maximum to one escort
  • It is critical to practice good cough and hand hygiene. Cough and sneeze into your sleeve or a tissue, never into your hands
  • Keep a safe distance from others: in a waiting room, it is recommended to keep a distance of at least 2 meters from others. In a queue, it is recommended to keep a distance of at least 2 meters from the people in front of you and the customer service person.

How have we prepared for this exceptional situation at our clinics?

  • The treatment of patients with symptoms of respiratory tract infection has been centralized at certain Terveystalo Flu clinics. At arrival, customers are asked if they have any respiratory tract symptoms or if they have travelled lately. This is to make sure that customers with respiratory tract symptoms are taken to a separate room.
  • Children under the age of 12 with respiratory tract symptoms can visit Terveystalo’s normal clinic from October 7, 2021, if they need the services provided there. Children under the age of 12 can also still visit the Terveystalo Flu clinic if they need services due to respiratory symptoms.
  • We always maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all of our clinics, both during an epidemic and otherwise. Terveystalo clinics comply with the special cleaning instructions issued by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, and our cleaning partners have the necessary competence.
  • Due to the coronavirus situation, we have intensified the disinfection of surfaces that are touched often, such as self-service registration machines and door handles.
  • Our personnel carefully observes hand hygiene policies, and hand sanitizer is easily available to customers in connection with self-service registration machines and checkout, for example.

Terveystalo’s services continue during the coronavirus outbreak. Our health and wellbeing experts and services are still at your disposal, and you are warmly welcome to visit Terveystalo. Choose the most convenient remote or face-to-face service.
