
Finlands leading provider of private healthcare services After the acquisition of Medivire Työterveyspalvelut, Suomen Terveystalo became the leading provider of private occupational healthcare services in Finland. Occupational healthcare services form over half of Suomen Terveystalo Oyjs turnover. At the end of 2007, the Group was responsible for the occupational healthcare services of more than 12,000 companies and more than 365,000 individuals. Terveystalo has received an ISO-2000 quality certificate in occupational healthcare services and corporate functions. Occupational healthcare services aim at ensuring the physical and mental wellbeing of customer companies' and corporations personnel so that they remain able to work until retirement. The basis for occupational healthcare operations is the Occupational Health Care Act and the Good occupational health care practices guidelines. The January-September 2008 turnover of the Occupational Healthcare segment was EUR 97,5 million (EUR 30,8 million), which represented some 56,4 percent of Suomen Terveystalo's turnover. The segment's profit amounted to EUR 6,7 million (EUR -1,0 million).
