Terveystalo wants to be the clear leader
in producing diagnostics services The Diagnostics Segment offers imaging, laboratory and screening services to private clinics, occupational healthcare units and health centers, in addition to Suomen Terveystalo’s own units. Terveystalo’s strengths are a national network, a continuous chain from sample-taking to central laboratory operations as well as our teleradiology operations and screening process. Terveystalo can offer its own offices as well as outsourcing customers all the test services they need, cost-efficiently, without compromising the high quality. As a forerunner, Terveystalo brings new and innovative technologies and expertise, that always aim at benefiting the patients, to the market. The January-September 2008 turnover of the Diagnostics segment was EUR 20,6 (EUR 21,6 million), which represented some 12,0 percent of Suomen Terveystalo's turnover. The segment's operating profit amounted to EUR 5,4 million (EUR 2,5 million). 
Business segment information for 1.1.–30.9.2007 and for the whole year 2007 is presented corresponding to the business segment division taken into use as of the beginning of 2008. From the beginning of 2008, sample-taking laboratory operations and express analytics as well as imaging services are reported as part of the Occupational Healthcare segment in terms of occupational clinics. |
