In general practitioner and specialist services, Terveystalo offers services that utilize versatile and modern medical technology. In hospital services, Terveystalo focuses on procedures with short after-care and mini-invasive office surgery in our operative fields of specialty. The size and extent of Terveystalo’s operations creates conditions for the company to invest in developing its expertise and service offering. The January-September 2008 turnover of the Clinics and Hospitals segment was EUR 51,7 million (EUR 42,6 million), which represented some 29,9 percent of Suomen Terveystalo's turnover. Business segment information for 1.1.–30.9.2007 and for the whole year 2007 is presented corresponding to the business segment division taken into use as of the beginning of 2008. Until the end of 2007 all imaging and laboratory services were reported as part of the Diagnostics segment. From the beginning of 2008, sample-taking laboratory operations and express analytics as well as imaging services are reported as part of the Clinics and Hospitals segment, in terms of clinic hospitals and clinics. |
